Horseshoe Bay Resort & Conference Center -Apple Rock, is a Resort, 18 hole golf course located in Horseshoe Bay, Texas, 40 miles west of Austin and 90 miles from San Antonio.
Horseshoe Bay Resort, Apple Rock Golf Course first opened for play in 1972. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
Horseshoe Bay Resort's Marriott hotel offers golf packages to Slick Rock, Ram Rock and Apple Rock, but Summit Rock is private, for members-only.

Quality shots are a must. Many hazards, OB, very hilly. Better know the course before you play it because it will make a low handicapper scream.

We love all these R.T. Jones Sr. golf courses in the Horseshoe Bay Resort area. We play them often - at least once a year. Here in Houston it's a treat to get into some hills this close to home + the climate while hotter is still more bearable in the summer than our humid clime.
